Comparison of Workers Compensation Rates
Effective July 1, 2011
Seven Selected Northeastern States

 

The PCRB has performed an analysis of prevailing workers compensation rating values in Pennsylvania and seven neighboring states. This study  presents comparative ranges of approved rating values in some 32 classifications, representing the 10 largest classifications from each of three Industry Groups: manufacturing, contracting and all other industries. In addition the logging and sawmill classifications are shown. The study accounts for the effects of such pricing variables as loss costs and/or manual rates, classification plan differences, and some (but not all) competitive pricing tools. The complete study is presented below.
