Late Reporting Fine Exemption for Attendant Care Policies Takes Effect March 1

The Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (PCRB) has announced that, effective March 1, 2026, policies reported under governing class code 0972 (Attendant Care) will be exempt from late reported policy fines. The change recognizes the unique administrative and operational complexities associated with Attendant Care reporting and is intended to support carriers managing these specialized policies.

Carriers that previously submitted late-reported Attendant Care policies may request a review of applicable fines or consideration for credit, subject to verification. Submissions dated prior to March 1, 2026, remain eligible for review through established Policy Reporting channels.
